Ingredients

  • 3.94 ounce box sonic green apple jello
  • ½ cup crown royal apple whiskey (or apple flavored vodka)
  • ½ cup butterscotch schnapps
  • 2 cups water (divided)
  • caramel sauce (such as ghirardelli)
  • optional toppings (whipped cream, caramel or apple candies, or apple slices)


Instructions

  1. Boil 1 ½ cups of water in a kettle or microwave until bubbling.
  2. In a large microwave-safe mixing bowl, add the boiling water to the green apple jello and whisk until completely dissolved.
  3. Stir in the whiskey or vodka, butterscotch schnapps, and the remaining ½ cup of cold water until well combined.
  4. Pour the Jello mixture into shot cups, allowing some head space for covering.
  5. Place the shot cups on a baking sheet for convenience and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  6. Before serving, drizzle caramel sauce on top of each shot and garnish as desired.

Notes

Letting the shots sit longer than 4 hours improves the texture.
