Description

Baked BBQ Chicken Wings offer a delightful blend of flavors with juicy chicken coated in rich BBQ sauce. Perfect for quick dinners or gatherings, these wings are easy to prepare and will surely impress any food lover.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken wings flats and drumettes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups BBQ sauce divided


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until the wings are well-coated.
  2. Add 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce to the wings and mix until fully coated. Arrange them on a foil-lined baking sheet spritzed with oil and refrigerate uncovered for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  4. Bake the wings for 30 minutes. Then, flip them over and brush 1/3 cup of BBQ sauce on top. Bake for another 30 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Brush the remaining BBQ sauce over the wings and switch the oven to broil. Broil for 2-3 minutes, closely watching until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the wings rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the wings for a few hours or overnight.
Feel free to adjust the amount of BBQ sauce based on your taste preference.
Serve with a side of celery sticks and ranch dressing for dipping.
