- 9 oz bag fritos scoops
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- ½ cup chopped tomatoes
- ⅓ cup chopped cilantro
- jalapeños, for serving
- sour cream, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and break it apart as it cooks. No oil is needed unless the beef is particularly lean.
- Cook the beef until it starts to brown. Sprinkle in cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and continue cooking until fully browned.
- On a sheet pan, arrange the fritos with the scoop side facing up. Add a light layer of cheese on top.
- Spoon the seasoned ground beef over the fritos, ensuring it fills each scoop.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the beef.
- Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
