Description

These Reese’s Eggs bring together creamy peanut butter and rich dark chocolate for a delectable treat. The combination of simple ingredients and easy preparation makes it a perfect homemade dessert for special occasions or a delightful snack any day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup creamy all-natural peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoon almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond flour in a food processor and pulse until the mixture is thick and crumbly, scraping sides as needed.
  2. Form the mixture into a ball using your hands.
  3. Roll the ball between two pieces of parchment paper to ¼ to ½ inch thick, then freeze for a few minutes.
  4. Cut out 12 egg shapes from the rolled dough with a cookie cutter and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Freeze the cut eggs for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave method until smooth.
  7. Dip each frozen peanut butter egg into the melted chocolate one at a time, placing them back on the baking sheet.
  8. Return the baking sheet to the freezer for at least 1 hour to set the chocolate.
  9. Optionally, drizzle additional melted chocolate over the eggs for decoration.

Notes

If your peanut butter is runny, add an extra tablespoon of almond flour to thicken the mixture.
Ensure the peanut butter eggs are fully frozen before dipping to achieve a smooth chocolate coating.
Feel free to mix different types of chocolate for a unique flavor.
