Description
These pork belly burnt ends are packed with irresistible flavor and are simple to prepare. With just a handful of ingredients, they make a fantastic comfort food for any gathering or quick dinner.

- 3 pounds pork belly, cut into large bite size cubes
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1.5 tbsp paprika
- 1.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1.5 tsp onion powder
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp pepper
- 3/4 cup bbq sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 275°F and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cut the pork belly into large, 2" chunks and coat all sides with the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange the pork belly on the rack with the fat side facing up, ensuring they do not touch each other.
- Bake for 3 hours, then remove the baking sheet from the oven and increase the temperature to 350°F.
- Brush each piece with BBQ sauce and return to the oven for 10 minutes or until the sauce is hot and caramelized.
- Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter flavor, reduce the amount of brown sugar.
Try using different BBQ sauces to customize the taste.
Ensure the pork pieces are placed well apart to achieve an even caramelization.
