Description

This Pineapple Cheese Ball features a delightful blend of cream cheese, crushed pineapple, and crunchy pecans. It’s easy to prepare and makes for a fantastic appetizer for gatherings or parties, bringing smiles to everyone with its unique flavor and texture.

  • 2 8-ounce packages cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 8-ounce cans crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • 5 green onions, finely chopped
  • ½ red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt, such as Lawry’s
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, divided


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese with the well-drained pineapple, finely chopped green onions (reserve some for garnish), bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoning salt until well combined.
  2. Fold in ½ cup of chopped pecans to the mixture.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably 8 hours or overnight for enhanced flavor.
  4. When ready to serve, roll the cheese ball in the remaining chopped pecans, sprinkle with reserved green onions, and present on a platter with assorted crackers, carrot sticks, celery, and cucumbers.
