Description

Enjoy the irresistible flavor of Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Filled Banana Bread, made with ripe bananas and creamy peanut butter. This easy homemade treat is perfect for quick snacks or breakfast, making it a must-try for any food lover.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas about 2-3 medium bananas
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ⅓ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream, for extra richness
  • extra melted peanut butter for drizzling
  • a sprinkle of powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease and flour an 8×4 or 9×5 inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper, allowing for overhang on the long sides for easy lifting.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas until just combined.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined, being careful not to overmix. A few lumps are totally fine.

Notes

Ensure the bananas are ripe for best flavor and sweetness.
You can add chocolate chips or nuts for an extra texture.
For a richer flavor, drizzle extra melted peanut butter on top before serving.
