- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 1/4 cup dairy free chocolate chips
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup almond flour, sifted
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the coconut oil and chocolate chips together, stirring regularly until smooth, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and coconut sugar for at least 45 seconds to create a light mixture.
- Fold in the sifted almond flour and salt manually to avoid over-mixing.
- Carefully pour the melted chocolate mixture into the batter and stir gently to combine.
- Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper or nonstick spray and pour the batter in.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Ensure the chocolate chips are dairy-free to maintain the Paleo integrity of the recipe.
For best results, do not over-mix the batter after adding the dry ingredients for a better texture.
