Description

This Lemon Chicken stands out with its irresistible flavor and simplicity. Made with juicy chicken breasts, zesty lemon, and fragrant spices, it’s perfect for a quick, satisfying dinner that the whole family will enjoy.


Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, (about 2 lb)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan
  • 2 cloves garlic, (finely minced)
  • ½ teaspoon corn starch
  • additional lemon as desired


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425℉ and lightly grease a 9×13" baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the dried parsley, salt, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and onion powder.
  3. Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and cover with plastic wrap. Use a rolling pin or small frying pan to flatten the thick end for uniform cooking.
  4. Arrange the chicken in the prepared baking dish, brush with oil, and evenly sprinkle the seasoning blend on both sides.
  5. Layer lemon slices over the chicken and bake for 15 minutes.

Notes

Ensure chicken breasts are uniform in thickness for even cooking.
Feel free to add more lemon slices for extra flavor if desired.
