- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter – softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp almond extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the butter and granulated sugar and beat until smooth.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms without over mixing.
- Using a tablespoon cookie scoop or spoon, scoop a heaping tablespoon of dough, roll it into a ball, and place it on the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cookies to cool completely before glazing.
- To prepare the glaze, whisk together the confectioner's sugar, heavy cream, and almond extract until smooth.
- Once the cookies have cooled, dip the tops in the glaze and sprinkle with decorative sprinkles before serving.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the amount of almond extract for a more or less pronounced flavor.
These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to one week.
