- 6 chicken breasts
- 12 oz italian dressing
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large zip bag, add chicken breasts and pour in Italian dressing, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Squeeze out excess air and shake to coat the chicken evenly with marinade. Alternatively, use a bowl to submerge the chicken in the marinade.
- Place the bag in a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight to marinate.
- Preheat the grill and clean it by rubbing half an onion on the hot grates for flavor and cleaning.
- Remove the chicken from the bag and discard the marinade.
- Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.
- Grill the chicken over medium-high heat until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 15 minutes.
- Serve while hot, or refrigerate for later use in salads or sandwiches.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
Make sure the grill is hot for a nice sear and prevent sticking.
You can use any favorite dressing if Italian is not available.
