Description

This Creamy Sausage Pasta with Spinach is a mouthwatering dish that combines rich flavors of Italian sausage with creamy sauce and fresh spinach. It’s perfect for a quick dinner or a comforting meal any night of the week!


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces short cut pasta
  • 1 pound italian sausage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 5 ounce spinach, roughly chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to the package directions.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the sausage and garlic. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the sausage is no longer pink, breaking it apart into small pieces.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for a few minutes until it starts to thicken.
  4. Stir in the spinach until wilted.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and mix everything together until well combined. Serve topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, use turkey sausage instead of pork sausage.
Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
