Description

This Creamiest Mango Sago is a delightful treat that combines the sweetness of mango pulp with the creaminess of coconut milk and chewy sago pearls. Perfect for warm days or as a refreshing dessert, this recipe is simple to make and a sure crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup sago or tapioca pearls
  • 2 cups water, divided
  • 3 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 1 cup thick coconut milk
  • 1 cup mango pulp
  • mango slices for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sago and soak it in ½ cup of water for 1 hour.
  2. In a pot, bring 1 ½ cups of water to a boil over high heat. Drain the soaked sago, add it to the pot, and once boiling, cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes until they turn transparent, stirring frequently to prevent clumping.
  3. Drain the cooked sago to remove any excess water. Combine with ½ cup of coconut milk and 2 tablespoons of condensed milk. Mix well and refrigerate until serving.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk according to your taste.
For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of vanilla extract.
Make sure to keep the sago well-separated to maintain a pleasant texture.
