Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup sago or tapioca pearls
- 2 cups water, divided
- 3 tablespoons condensed milk
- 1 cup thick coconut milk
- 1 cup mango pulp
- mango slices for garnish, optional
Instructions
- Rinse the sago and soak it in ½ cup of water for 1 hour.
- In a pot, bring 1 ½ cups of water to a boil over high heat. Drain the soaked sago, add it to the pot, and once boiling, cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes until they turn transparent, stirring frequently to prevent clumping.
- Drain the cooked sago to remove any excess water. Combine with ½ cup of coconut milk and 2 tablespoons of condensed milk. Mix well and refrigerate until serving.
Notes
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk according to your taste.
For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of vanilla extract.
Make sure to keep the sago well-separated to maintain a pleasant texture.
