Description

This Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust is a delightful twist on traditional pizza bases. With its creamy cottage cheese and simple prep, it’s a quick and wholesome choice for a comforting meal or healthy snack. Perfect for those craving homemade goodness!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup 00 flour (or all purpose is fine)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a blender or food processor, blend the cottage cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and blended cottage cheese. Mix with your hands until it forms a ball.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead 5-8 times until it's smooth.
  5. Roll the dough into a circle about 1/2″ thick and 11″ in diameter.
  6. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and place the dough on it.
  7. Brush the outer edge of the crust with olive oil.
  8. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.

Notes

If the dough is sticky, add flour gradually until it reaches the right consistency.
The pizza crust can be pre-baked and topped later for a convenient meal option.
