Description

These Buffalo Wing Puff Pastry Hot Dogs combine irresistible flavors with a simple prep. Filled with cheese and drizzled with wing sauce, they’re perfect for a quick meal or snack!


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 6 hot dogs
  • 1 large egg + 1 teaspoon water, beaten together for egg wash
  • 1 cup freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • ⅔ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • buffalo wing sauce, for drizzling
  • 4 green onions, sliced for topping
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh cilantro, for topping
  • ranch dressing, for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Slice the sheet of puff pastry into 6 squares: once down the center lengthwise, then two slices widthwise.
  3. Place some cheddar and blue cheese in the center of one of the puff pastry squares. Top with the hot dog. Roll up the pastry to encase the hot dog and drizzle wing sauce on top. Repeat with remaining hot dogs and pastry squares. Arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Make a few cuts in the top of the puff pastry to allow steam to escape. Brush generously with the egg wash. Optionally, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the puff pastry is golden and puffy.
  6. Drizzle with extra wing sauce, then garnish with sliced green onions, cilantro, and additional blue cheese. Serve with ranch dressing.

Notes

Ensure the puff pastry is fully thawed before use for easier handling.
Mix different cheeses for varied flavor if preferred.
