- 2 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined (tails intact)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp teriyaki or soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp seafood seasoning i.e. old bay or seafood magic
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 2 medium cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp chopped flat leaf parsley and lemon wedges for garnishing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F and lightly grease a 13×9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, teriyaki or soy sauce, honey, seafood seasoning, salt, and garlic. Add 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley and stir to combine.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and mix until they are evenly coated. Marinate for about 15 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- Transfer the shrimp to the prepared baking dish in a single layer, pouring any remaining marinade over them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque,ensuring not to overcook them.
- Serve immediately, garnished with reserved parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
Adjust the salt to your preference for seasoning.
For a bit of spice, consider adding red pepper flakes to the marinade.
