Ingredients
Scale
- 5 sirloin steaks – about 1 ½ thick
- 1 tbsp grape seed oil
- 1 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated parmesan
- ¼ cup shredded parmesan
- ½ tbsp chopped parsley
- 4 tbsp softened unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 5 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Brush the steaks with grapeseed oil and season generously with salt and pepper on all sides. Allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. Cooking times may vary, so use a meat thermometer for desired doneness.
- Place the steaks into the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the steaks are cooking, prepare the Parmesan crust topping by mixing panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, shredded Parmesan, chopped parsley, minced garlic, softened butter, and ranch seasoning in a bowl until well combined.
- Once the steaks are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and increase the temperature back to 400°F.
- Top each steak with a slice of provolone cheese followed by a generous scoop of the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture. Return them to the air fryer for another 5 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite veggies and enjoy!
Notes
Grapeseed oil is preferred for its high smoke point but can be replaced with extra virgin olive oil if needed.
Check the meat with a thermometer to ensure your steak is cooked to your liking, especially if you prefer different levels of doneness.
